Boxing Day Game Drive!

Ol Pejeta Equator Sign

The day after Christmas we decided to go for a game drive at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. It was an overcast day with some rain, but that didn’t stop us. After all, the Tuna can go anywhere! Actually, with the grounds still a little wet and muddy and all the bush trails, having a large (high) car with four wheel drive came in handy. We were able to drive about with ease and see above any brush and grass.

The drive started out well. We saw some black rhino right away. We also saw tons of zebra, water buck, buffalo, impala, gazelle, and oryx. The drive ended with some elephants. Not a bad way to spend a half day!

Here are some photos from our excursion.
